Competitive Intelligence Shouldn't Cost $10K
Enterprise CI tools are built for Fortune 500 companies with six-figure budgets. We built Spyglass because indie SaaS founders deserve the same intelligence — at 1/100th the price.

Every SaaS founder we talked to had the same blind spot: they didn't know what their competitors were doing. Not because they didn't care — because the tools to track competitors cost $1,000-$10,000 per month. Crayon. Klue. Kompyte. All built for enterprises. None built for indie founders.
So founders resorted to manual checks: opening competitor websites in browser tabs, taking screenshots, trying to remember what changed. It was time-consuming, inconsistent, and easy to miss critical changes. When a competitor dropped prices by 30%, most founders found out from a customer who was about to churn.
Spyglass is competitive intelligence built for indie SaaS founders. A Snapshot is a $9 one-time report covering up to 3 competitors. Tracker monitors selected public surfaces for 3 competitors daily for $29/month. Tracker Plus is announced at $39/month for 5 competitors and is not yet publicly available; Command is also coming soon.
Our reports combine retrieved public evidence with structured analysis. When evidence cannot be retrieved or supported, it should be marked as unavailable rather than filled in from assumptions.
We tell you what competitors are really doing — no sugar-coating, no fluff. If your pricing is 40% below market, we'll tell you.
Every insight in our reports comes with a specific recommendation. "Competitor X launched Y feature" isn't enough — we tell you what to do about it.
We price for solo founders and micro-teams: $9 for a one-time Snapshot or $29/month for Tracker monitoring of 3 competitors.
We only use publicly available information. No gray-hat scraping, no private data, no dark patterns. We respect robots.txt and rate limits — always.
Spyglass was founded in 2026 by an indie hacker who's been on both sides: building SaaS products and analyzing competitors. We understand the constraints of bootstrapped founders — limited time, limited budget, and zero tolerance for tools that don't deliver immediate value.
We're a small, focused team that believes competitive intelligence is a fundamental right for every founder, not a luxury for enterprises. We're building the tool we wish we'd had when we launched our first SaaS product.
